Noor Jabbar, 18, Amphitheater High School

I came to America one year ago from Iraq. My goal is to graduate from Amphitheater High with very high grades and activities to get accepted with a full scholarship, either to attend Stanford University or the University of Arizona, where I want to study fiber-optics engineering. My favorite hobby is reading, especially mystery novels. I love to dance and create dances. At VOICES I learned how to write a story and make it exciting. I also learned helpful tips about shooting videos and photos. In addition to training, they also pay us which is very neat. I am enjoying my work at VOICES, my new life in America, my education and above all getting closer to reaching my goals every day.
