At birth, my mother named me Victoria. As I got older, I grew fonder of the nickname – Vikcki. The extra “k” is there for a reason. There are thousands that go by the name “Vicki”. But I’m the only one that spells it my way. I’m very spontaneous with a random sense of humor and strong opinions. That is why VOICES captured my heart – it gave me the opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings through my stories. Photography lets me capture a moment in time that will never repeat. I hold a piece of history in my camera. I love the people that work here, most of them are now considered my personal heroes. My favorite time of day is right before program, when were all crowded around the table full of snacks. We feel like a family at dinnertime, rushing to get as much food as they can.
