Our Mission

VOICES is a community-based nonprofit organization in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1999, our mission is to provide youth with a safe space, positive relationships, and the skills training to document real-life stories. We provide the platform to share their work and to transform the world around them because we believe stories are an agent of change.

Our vision is that all youth have the opportunity to become confident, connected, and critical thinking individuals who decide what their future looks like. Youth who are creative, resilient, educated and active citizens are youth who benefit themselves, their families and our community now and in the future.
